Cathy Floyd is an accomplished marketing and business development executive with over 30 years of experience leading brands and initiatives with a world class Fortune 50 company. She currently serves as a consultant and strategic advisor to minority owned businesses, non-profits and startups. Combining vision and execution, Cathy has a proven record of driving business growth and results within organizations that succeed in highly competitive markets. Cathy’s work focuses on developing strategies to embed best practices within an organization to help position brands and grow revenue. Recognized for her leadership, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, Cathy is a global leader who has successfully managed projects in the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan.
As a Business Development Executive, Cathy developed comprehensive plans to drive adoption of technology and innovation within the software developer ecosystem and startup community in the San Francisco Bay area. Her management experience includes working with enterprise clients, small and medium businesses, industry teams and strategic partner relationships. Cathy has lead initiatives with the Startup America Partnership, building alliances with the country’s most innovative corporations, universities and foundations to create networks and develop resources to promote and expand entrepreneurship throughout the nation.
In her community, Cathy is very active promoting STEM and robotics in local schools. She serves on the Board of Directors for Grace House Ministries, Inc., a residential campus providing homes, education and enrichment for girls in foster care. She is a mentor for students and early career professionals, serving as an Advisor for the National Society of Black Engineers Junior chapters.
Cathy began her professional career as a product engineer and went on to experience career success in sales, marketing and business development roles. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina, and her MBA from the USC Moore School of Business. Cathy and her husband have three young adult children.
Horace M. Madison, Jr.
Chief Financial Officer
Horace M. Madison, Jr. is a Principal in the music, sports, and entertainment group of Prager Metis. He has been in Business Management for over 20 years. Horace has worked with some of the biggest names in urban music and sports and is an expert in business ventures within the entertainment industry. His experience on Wall Street and as a stockbroker in Private Client Services has helped him excel at equities and simple fixed-income securities transactions.
Horace believes that his client's financial education is the cornerstone of relationship development, and he stresses wealth of life, not just wealth regarding material assets.
Horace is a noted expert and frequent speaker, having given numerous presentations and seminars for the Black Entertainment Sports Lawyers Association and throughout the Caribbean in conjunction with the University of the West Indies. Also, Horace has been featured in numerous interviews and feature articles about his business management philosophy.
Before joining Prager Metis in June of 2018, Horace was the Founding Principal and Managing Member of Madison Smallwood Financial Group and Madison Strategic Integration.
Horace is on the board of The Riverside Hawks of Riverside Church, Harlem and holds a bachelor of arts from Franklin & Marshall and MBA from University of Miami.
